Love this recipe on a cold winter day! The house smells amazing and the pork tenderloin is a wonderful alternative in place of a ground meat.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds pork tenderloin, cubed
  • 1 large onions, diced
  • 4 - celery ribs, diced
  • 6 cans 15 1/2 oz. great northern beans, drained and rinsed
  • 4 cans 14 1/2 oz. chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 - seeded and diced jalapenos or substitute green chilies
  • 2 teaspoons good quality chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper,cayene, ground cumin, salt and black pepper
  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce, optional
  • 1 cup shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter

How To Make spicy pork chili

  • Step 1
    In a dutch oven cook pork, onions, celery in butter until meat is browned. Stir in beans, broth, water peppers and spices add hot sauce if desired.
  • Step 2
    Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
  • Step 3
    Uncover simmer 30-40 mins. longer or until chili reaches desired consistency. Serve and sprinkle with cheese.
