Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 - pork tenderloin (1 lb.)
- 2 teaspoons oil
How To Make spice rubbed pork tenderloin

Step 1Prehat oven to 400F. Mix all ingredients, except pork and oil, in a small bowl.

Step 2Lay pork tenderloin on a cutting board and coat with spice mix on all sides.

Step 3Heat oil over medium-high heat in a 10-inch cast iron skillet (or other oven-proof skillet). Using tongs, place pork in pan and sear on one side for 3 minutes. Turn meat over on sear another minute.

Step 4Place pan in preheated oven and roast for 10-15 minutes, until internal temperature reaches 135-140 degrees (use instant-read thermometer).

Step 5Remove pork from pan and let rest on cutting board for a few minutes. Slice and serve.
