Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 10 - roma tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 teaspoons oregano
- 12 - basil, fresh
- - salt
- - pepper
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 12 ounces tomato paste
- 1 package spaghetti
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
How To Make spaghetti and parmesan meatballs

Step 1Prepare all ingredients

Step 2Slice Tomatoes in half

Step 3Crush and mince garlic

Step 4In a large pot, on medium-high heat add oil and garlic, allow garlic to cook in oil about 6 minutes.

Step 5add tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.cook tomatoes until they begin to break down.

Step 6mix Italian pork and ground beef together, add salt and pepper

Step 7add 1/2 cup parmesan cheese to meatball mixture and add bread crumbs, combine and blend thoroughly

Step 8portion and form meatballs and set aside

Step 9Add water, sugar, and tomato paste or puree to sauce and stir

Step 10add 1/4 cup Cabernet Sauvignon to sauce mix

Step 11add 1/4 cup parmesan cheese to sauce and stir

Step 12add fresh basil leaves and allow to continue to cook about 1 hour on low-medium heat stirring ocassionally

Step 13In a large frying pan add 1/4 inch of olive oil and place meatballs in pan

Step 14cook meatballs evenly on all sides. (use a lid or cover when cooking to insure meatballs are cooked thoroughly

Step 15In a separate pan boil water and add spaghetti noodles cook about 7-10 minutes.

Step 16place meatballs in a baking pan, sprinkle with fresh parmesan and cook on low heat about 7-10 minutes

Step 17add fresh basil to sauce prior to serving

Step 18strain noodles and in strainer pour small amount of olive oil over noodles and toss in strainer until noodles are covered

Step 19Plate and enjoy
