Smokey Ham & Beans
6 cdry pinto beans (rinsed)
1 pkgraw bacon (diced)
1 pkgham steak (bone in) (diced)
1 mediumonion (diced)
4 Tbspchicken stock
4-5 dash(es)liquid smoke (be generous)
How to Make Smokey Ham & Beans
- Dice your ham, raw bacon & onion. Rinse your beans. Throw it all in a roasting oven and cook for 10-12 hours on 350. I stir ocassionaly. Ive never had to add more water, but keep an eye on that when you stir!
- I save my bacon slices in a baggie in the freezer from my Candy's Signature Smoked MeatLoaf dicing this double smoked bacon up into this recipe makes it that much more amazing!!
***if you use the smoked bacon from the meatloaf recipe, DO NOT use the liquid smoke in this recipe as you will not need it!***
