I am the chef for our church and feed a family of 8 daily! Everything I make is "BIG"!! This one I threw together tonight to feed 40+ at church lunch tomorrow by the grace of God and the whole family is drooling already with 10 more hours to cook!!

Ingredients For smokey ham & beans

6 cdry pinto beans (rinsed)

26 cwater

1 pkgraw bacon (diced)

1 pkgham steak (bone in) (diced)

1 mdonion (diced)

4 Tbspchicken stock
-
2 Tbspsalt

4-5 dashliquid smoke (be generous)
How To Make smokey ham & beans

1Dice your ham, raw bacon & onion. Rinse your beans. Throw it all in a roasting oven and cook for 10-12 hours on 350. I stir ocassionaly. Ive never had to add more water, but keep an eye on that when you stir!

2I save my bacon slices in a baggie in the freezer from my Candy's Signature Smoked MeatLoaf dicing this double smoked bacon up into this recipe makes it that much more amazing!! ***if you use the smoked bacon from the meatloaf recipe, DO NOT use the liquid smoke in this recipe as you will not need it!***
