These pork chops are so moist and savory and quick and easy too. This is one of my go to meals on a busy work week evening.

Ingredients For savory pork chops

    pork chops, 1/2" thick
  • 1 can
    old fashioned tomato and rice soup
  • 1/4 c
    water
  • 1
    green pepper, cut in strips
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp
    white pepper

How To Make savory pork chops

    In skillet over medium-high heat, in 1 Tablespoon hot oil, cook half of the chops 10 minutes or browned on both sides. Remove; set aside. Repeat with remaining chops. Pour off fat.

    In same skillet, combine soup, water, green pepper, onion, thyme and pepper. Heat to boiling. Return chops to skillet. Cover; cook over low heat 5 minutes or until chops are no longer pink, stirring often.
