Ingredients
- 1 package lentils, dry
- 1 package jimmy dean sausage (roll)
- 1 large sweet or yellow onion , chopped
- 1 large carrots, chopped
- 5 cups rice, cooked and hot
How To Make sausage and lentils over rice

Step 1start cooking rice, boil lentils, drain and set aside.

Step 2Meanwhile, saute carrots and onions in a tbsp or so of olive oil. When halfway cooked add the sausage and cook until browned and veggies are nicely browned as well. Add lentils and toss together. Salt and pepper as needed.

Step 3Serve over the rice, yum!
