My dad would make this for a Sunday dinner, and it was always a treat.

1/2 tsp
dried sage
1/4 tsp
salt and pepper each
1 lb
pork tenderloin
1 Tbsp
canola oil
red onion, cut into wedges
cooking apples, cut into wedges.
2/3 c
apple cider

How to Make roasted pork w/ apples


  • 1In small bowl, combine sage, salt and pepper. Rub mix on all sides of pork. Heat oven to 425.
  • 2In lg skillet, over med-high heat, brown pork on all sides. Place pork in a roasting pan. Place onion wedges around pork. Roast uncovered for 10 ins.Place apple wedges arond pork and roast another 15 min or until no longer pink inside.
  • 3transfer pork, onions and apples to a platter, keep warm. In small saucepan bring appl cider to a boil. Simmer gently until reduced to 1/3 cup. Drizzle over pork, onions and apples.
