Another one from WQED "One Skillet" cookbook...really good, really easy! Just put it in the crock pot and go about your business! This is one of my favorites!

Ingredients

3-5 lb
pork roast, or mixed pork pcs (center cut & sirloin chops)
4 c
water
3
beef or chicken bouillon cubes
garlic powder, to taste
coarse or kosher salt, to taste
fresh ground black pepper, to taste
12 oz
bottle chili sauce
2-3 Tbsp
honey
1 Tbsp
yellow mustard
1 tsp
dry mustard
4-6 dash(es)
low sodium soy sauce
2/3 c
dark brown sugar
1 c
ketchup
1 Tbsp
apple cider vinegar
5 dash(es)
hot sauce
12
whole wheat kaiser rolls

How to Make PULLED PORK BBQ

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place meat in slow cooker; add water and bouillon. Season with garlic powder, salt & pepper. Cook on "HIGH" 4-6 hrs or til meat is very tender. Remove meat; set aside to cool slightly. Discard liquid.
  • 2Shred meat with fingers, discarding any fat or bones. Return meat to slow cooker. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Cook on "HIGH" for another 30-60 minutes longer. (If left unattended longer than 1 hr, set temperature to "LOW".)
  • 3Stir well again and serve on whole wheat kaiser rolls.
