How to Make Pork with Cider

  1. Dredge pork in flour; cook in oil in a large ovenproof skillet until browned on all sides. Remove pork; set pork aside. Discard drippings. Add apple cider to the skillet; cook over medium-high heat, deglazing skillet by scraping particles that cling to the bottom.
  2. Return the pork to the skillet; add the carrot and next 5 ingredients. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours.
  3. Remove and discard the bay leaf. Serve the pork immediately over mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice.
