Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
lean boneless pork, cut into 2 inch cubes
1/3 c
all purpose flour
1/3 c
vegetable oil
1 1/2 c
apple cider
2
carrots, scraped and sliced
1 medium
onion, sliced
1
bay leaf
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
black pepper
1/2 tsp
dried whole rosemary
cooked mashed potatoes, hot cooked noodles, or hot cooked rice

Step-By-Step

1Dredge pork in flour; cook in oil in a large ovenproof skillet until browned on all sides. Remove pork; set pork aside. Discard drippings. Add apple cider to the skillet; cook over medium-high heat, deglazing skillet by scraping particles that cling to the bottom.
2Return the pork to the skillet; add the carrot and next 5 ingredients. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours.
3Remove and discard the bay leaf. Serve the pork immediately over mashed potatoes, noodles, or rice.
