Ingredients For pork pie

1 1/4 lbground pork
-
1/2to3/4 ccold water
-
1/2 cfinely chopped onion
-
1/4 cfinely chopped celery
-
1/2 tspground black pepper
-
1bay leaf
-
1/2 tspdried savoury
-
1/4 tspdried rosemary
-
1/4 tspgrated nutmeg
-
1 pinchcinnamon
-
salt to taste

1/4 cold fashion rolled oats

pastry for double crust
How To Make pork pie

1Combine pork and water and bring to a boil Stir in next 8 ingredients Cover and cook over medium to low heat for about one and a half hours stirring occasionally and adding more water as needed

2Half way through the cooking timeseason with salt and stir in the oats.Cook stiring for 1 to 2 minutes

3Preheat oven to 425 bake 15 minutes and reduce the heat to 375 bake another 25 minutes or until golden brown I like serving this with mashed potatoes and a veggie
