Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pounds ground pork
- 1/2to3/4 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 - bay leaf
- 1/2 teaspoon dried savoury
- 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- - salt to taste
- 1/4 cup old fashion rolled oats
- - pastry for double crust
How To Make pork pie

Step 1Combine pork and water and bring to a boil Stir in next 8 ingredients Cover and cook over medium to low heat for about one and a half hours stirring occasionally and adding more water as needed

Step 2Half way through the cooking timeseason with salt and stir in the oats.Cook stiring for 1 to 2 minutes

Step 3Preheat oven to 425 bake 15 minutes and reduce the heat to 375 bake another 25 minutes or until golden brown I like serving this with mashed potatoes and a veggie
