    pork chops, boneless
  • 3 c
    rice, instant
  • 3 c
    beef consomme
  • 1
    large onion
  • 1
    large tomato
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 tsp
    thyme, dried

How to Make Pork Chop Casserole


  1. Put olive oil in frying pan and heat until hot , salt and pepper pork chops with salt and pepper. Place pork chops in the hot oil , just to brown.
  2. While chops are browning , place rice in the bottom of a 13x9x2 baking pan.Pour beef consomme over rice, Place browned pork chops on top add 1 slice onion and 1 slice tomato to top of each pork chop. Sprinkle top of casserole lightly with dried thyme.
  3. Bake in an 350 degree oven for 1 hour . remove from oven and serve.
