pork and kraut rolls
(1 RATING)
My sweet Mother used to make these when I was still at home. I am not a kraut fan but these are so yummy. There will never be leftovers

Ingredients
- 2 - loaves of frozen bridgeford bread
- 2 large cans of sauerkraut
- 1 medium boneless pork roast
- 3 large onions, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper per each kraut roll
How To Make pork and kraut rolls
-
Step 1Place pork roast and sauerkraut in a covered baking pan and bake for 2 hours Thaw frozen bread dough while roast is cooking Pinch off enough dough to make as many 6" dough circles as possible When roast is tender, chop in small pieces Place a small amount of the pork/kraut mixture onto each dough circle On top of the kraut place about 2 Tbs of onions and 1/4 tsp of pepper I like to use fresh ground pepper Pull the sides together and seal. It will resemble a large roll at this step. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 450 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes. This makes many and freezes well.
