    pork chops, cut 1-inch thick
  • 1 c
    croutons
  • 1/2 c
    chopped salted peanuts
  • 2 Tbsp
    instant minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    finelty snipped parsley
  • 1/2-1 tsp
    crushed chili pepper
  • 2/3 c
    butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 Tbsp
    water
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    apple jelly
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice

How to Make PEANUT STUFFED PORK CHOPS

Step-by-Step

  1. Cut pockets in each pork chop. Mix croutons, peanuts, onion, parskey and chili pepper in bowl. Mix butter, water and salt. Pour over crouton mixture. Stuff pork chop pockets with c mixture.
  2. Hear jelly and lemon juice to boiling. stirring constantly. Preheat oven 375 degrees. Bake 1 hour covered with foil. Then 30 minutes uncovered. Brushing with jelly mixture 2 or 3 times during last 30 minutes. Makes 8 servings.
