found this in a low fat book my mother gave me as a Christmas gift ages ago. It is one ingredient for Italian sausage soup, which I will post .

boneless pork loin, or tenderloin, cut up
1/4 c
dry white wine
2 Tbsp
chopped parsley
1 1/2 tsp
crushed fennel seeds
1/2 tsp
crushed red pepper flakes
2 clove
garlic, minced

How to Make No Fat Italian Sausage


  • 1trim meat of any fat, and membranes to assure is fat free
  • 2cut in chunks, and chop a small amt at the time in food processor or thru meat grinder
  • 3add all the spices and wine. process until well distributed thru meat,
  • 4place in covered airtight container. can be kept for up to one day in refrigerator
