I have been making meatballs since I was 12, my mom worked weekends being the oldest daughter of 5, meatballs was a fun, simple, easy recipe that my dad could help me with he gave me a tip from my polish, (yes I said polish), grandmom, soak the bread in milk. Through the years I have made changes, here and there..hope you enjoy these as much as my family does.
Put the bread in a small bowl and add the milk, allow to soak through and squeeze breaking up the bread.
In a large bowl put the meats, and eggs, add the milk soaked bread, and remaining ingredients.
Mix well with your hands, don' t over mix or you will have tough meatballs,
Make in the shape of balls, out them on a lined baking sheet and bak at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of your meatball. Get the kids involved they can help with the rolling and mixing!!
