We LOVE this meal. It's so easy and so good. We've had friends over and made this and they loved it! And our gluten free friend likes it too as she can use rice tortillas.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds boneless pork roast
  • 1 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ginger
  • 1 package cabbage shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups carrots shredded
  • 1/4 cup scallions sliced
  • 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar

How To Make moo shu pork

  • Step 1
    Mix Hoisen sauce and ginger in a bowl and pour over pork roast in crock pot. Cook about 8 hours on low. (Note: the Tbls of Ginger is fresh grated. You can substitute with 1 tsp of ground Ginger.)
  • Step 2
    Just before serving, use two forks to shred the meat. Toss cabbage, carrots, and scallions with the vinegar and sugar in a bowl. spread about 1 tsp of hoisen sauce on a tortilla and add about a 1/3 cup of the cabbage mixture and toss some pork on there. Fold it up like a burrito and enjoy.
