I made this up one day when I wanted something quick, but fall tasting. The maple syrup makes these so good.

    pork loin chops, 1/2"-thick
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 12
    baby carrots, halved lengthwise
  • 1 large
    apple, sliced
  • 1/3 c
    real, pure maple syrup

How to Make Maple pork chops w/ apples


  1. Sprinkle chops w/ salt & pepper. In lg skillet, over medium heat, melt butter. Add chops to skillet.
  2. Brown chops 2 min per side. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add carrots, apple and maple syrup. Cover, simmer for 8-10 mins.
  3. Transfer chops, carrots and apples to a platter. Bring syrup mix to a boil. Boil gently, uncovered 1-2 mins, or until thickened. Pour sauce over chops and veggies.
