I got this recipe from my dad. He always made it in the fall because of the flavors, they remind you of the fall. He insisted that I use REAL maple syrup only.

Ingredients
- 4 - boneless pork loin chops, 3/4
- 1/4 teaspoon salt & pepper
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped shallots
- 2 tablespoons toasted, chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons real maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, snipped.
How To Make maple-glazed pork chops.

Step 1Sprinkle chops w/ salt & pepper. Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray made w/ canola oil. Place skillet over medium-high heat. Add pecans, toast for 1-2 min. Remove pecans from skillet. Reduce heat to medium. Add oil & shallots, cook for 1 min, stirring. Add chops and cook for about 15 min, turning once until juices run clear. In small bowl, combine pecans, syrup, butter and thyme. Whisk well. Add syrup mix to pan and heat through. Place chops on plate and drizzle w/ glaze.
