Ingredients

1 -16 oz
can whole tomatoes
1 lb
pork sausage links
1 medium
onion chopped
1 clove
garlic minced
3 1/2 c
drained sauerkraut
1 medium
green peppr diced
2 Tbsp
packed brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
basil crushed

How to Make KRAUT AND LINKS PAN-DANGO BY EDDIE

Step-by-Step

  • 1Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid. Quarter each tomato set aside.
  • 2Cook sausage according to package directions in skillet drain on paper towel.
  • 3Reserve about 2 tablespoons drippings . Add onion, and garlic to reserved drippings in skillet.
  • 4Saute over medium heat stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
  • 5Stir in reserved tomato liquid, quartered tomatoes and remaining ingredients.
  • 6Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • 7Top kraut mixture with cooked sausage.
  • 8Cook for 5 minutes or until sausages are heated through. Yield 4 servings.
