Yield 4 servings
Ingredients
- 1 -16 ounce can whole tomatoes
- 1 pound pork sausage links
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 3 1/2 cups drained sauerkraut
- 1 medium green peppr diced
- 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon basil crushed
How To Make kraut and links pan-dango by eddie

Step 1Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid. Quarter each tomato set aside.

Step 2Cook sausage according to package directions in skillet drain on paper towel.

Step 3Reserve about 2 tablespoons drippings . Add onion, and garlic to reserved drippings in skillet.

Step 4Saute over medium heat stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until onion is tender.

Step 5Stir in reserved tomato liquid, quartered tomatoes and remaining ingredients.

Step 6Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.

Step 7Top kraut mixture with cooked sausage.

Step 8Cook for 5 minutes or until sausages are heated through. Yield 4 servings.
