KRAUT AND LINKS PAN-DANGO BY EDDIE
1 -16 ozcan whole tomatoes
1 lbpork sausage links
1 mediumonion chopped
1 clovegarlic minced
3 1/2 cdrained sauerkraut
1 mediumgreen peppr diced
2 Tbsppacked brown sugar
1 1/2 tspsalt
1 tspbasil crushed
How to Make KRAUT AND LINKS PAN-DANGO BY EDDIE
- Drain tomatoes, reserving liquid. Quarter each tomato set aside.
- Cook sausage according to package directions in skillet drain on paper towel.
- Reserve about 2 tablespoons drippings . Add onion, and garlic to reserved drippings in skillet.
- Saute over medium heat stirring occasionally, for about 5 minutes or until onion is tender.
- Stir in reserved tomato liquid, quartered tomatoes and remaining ingredients.
- Cook uncovered for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
- Top kraut mixture with cooked sausage.
- Cook for 5 minutes or until sausages are heated through. Yield 4 servings.
