janet's pork chops with peach glaze

This pork chop recipe is very good. It is a must around our house. Y ou can substatute cranberry juice for the peach marmalade and dried cranberries for the fruit

Ingredients
- 6 - pork chops
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 jar peach marmalade
- 1 can sliced peaches
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/4 cup catsup
- 1 1/2 cups very hot water
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 package stuffing mix any brand (pork flavor)
How To Make janet's pork chops with peach glaze

Step 1Season chops with salt and pepper. Brown well in a medium skillet with the oil. Place an a shallow baking dish.

Step 2Heat the peach marmalade, brown sugar, catsup, and vinegar in a sauce pan.

Step 3Brush part of the glaze on chops. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

Step 4Meanwhile, drain off fat in skillet pour in hot water. Add butter and contents of season packet stir to melt butter. Add crumbs stir to moisten.

Step 5Arrange chops to edge of pan and spoon in stuffing. Arrange drained peaches around chops and brush with remaining glaze.

Step 6Bake 20 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.
