italian sausage one dish casserole
This casserole goes way back. I have altered it a little. from HELEN'S PANTRY

Ingredients
- 1 pound italian pork sausage
- 1 1/2 - zucchini cut and cubed with peel on
- 2 cups green peppers cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 cups chopped onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 large can italian tomatoes peeled
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 2 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup parmesan cheese
How To Make italian sausage one dish casserole

Step 1Cook sausage in a skillet until brown.

Step 2Cook zucchini, green pepper, onion, and garlic in oil from sausage for 10 minutes. Put in 1/2 cup parmesan cheese rice and mix well

Step 3Put all ingredients in a casserole dish cover and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. The last 15 minutes top with the other 1/2 cup parmesan cheese and return to oven.
