I love sub sandwiches, this is so easy to make and is a meal to it's self. This is a good way to get kids to eat vegetables like bell peppers, and onions. Who can resist?

3 lb
italian sausage, mild cut into 3/4 " slices
medim green peppers, cut into strips
medim onion cut into strips
2 Tbsp
olive oil
4 Tbsp
beef broth
plum tomatoes chopped
2 Tbsp
minced parsley
2 c
shreded mozzarella cheese
submarine sandwich rolls
salt and peppers to taste

How to Make Italian Sausage and pepper Sub Sandwich


  • 1In a large skillet , cook the sausage over mediun heat until no longer pink. Add all the remaining ingredients except the mozzarella cheese and rolls.
  • 2Cover and cook ao low to medium heat for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
  • 3When ready to serve place on toasted sub rolls with mozzarella cheese on top.
