  • 4 slice
    bacon, diced
  • 4 slice
    italian bread (1/2-inch thick)
  • 2 slice
    provolone cheese
  • 2
    lettuce leaves
  • 1 small
    tomato, sliced
  • 4 tsp
    italian salad dressing
  • 1/3 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • ·
    butter-flavored cooking spray
  • 1/2 tsp
    olive oil

How to Make ITALIAN BLTs


  1. In a small skillet cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Layer two bread slices with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato; top with remaining bread.
  2. Brush outsides of sandwiches with salad dressing. Place bread crumbs in a shallow bowl. Coat sandwiches with bread crumbs, spray with butter-flavored cooking spray.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, toast sandwiches in oil for 2-3 minutes on each side or until bread is lightly browned. Serve immediately.
