Ingredients

  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 4 slices italian bread (1/2-inch thick)
  • 2 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 - lettuce leaves
  • 1 small tomato, sliced
  • 4 teaspoons italian salad dressing
  • 1/3 cup panko bread crumbs
  • - butter-flavored cooking spray
  • 1/2 teaspoon olive oil

How To Make italian blts

  • Step 1
    In a small skillet cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Layer two bread slices with cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato; top with remaining bread.
  • Step 2
    Brush outsides of sandwiches with salad dressing. Place bread crumbs in a shallow bowl. Coat sandwiches with bread crumbs, spray with butter-flavored cooking spray.
  • Step 3
    In a large skillet over medium heat, toast sandwiches in oil for 2-3 minutes on each side or until bread is lightly browned. Serve immediately.
