Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 3 cans baked beans (large can)
- 1 can kidney beans, canned (large can)
- 1 can rotel diced tomatoes with chiles
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 - onion chopped
- 1 package sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/2 package hersheys chocolate bar
- 1/2 - potato
- 1 - red pepper, chopped
- pinch salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup beer
- OPTIONAL TOPPINGS
- - sour cream
- - grated cheddar cheese
- - chopped green onion
- SERVE WITH
- - frito scoop chips
- - sliced french bread
How To Make islandjenn's no-tootin chili

Step 1Brown meat in a large pot. Add onions and garlic and cook until meat is done.

Step 2Add mushrooms, red pepper, and can of rotel tomatoes, continue to cook about 5 minutes.

Step 3Add spaghetti sauce and beer (optional).

Step 4Drain can of kidney beans and add to pot. Add all of baked beans and stir gently.

Step 5Add all seasoning (italian seasoning, garlic powder and chili powder). Stir gently.

Step 6Clean a russet potatoe and cut in half. Place potatoe in bottom of pan. The potatoe acts like a sponge, soaking up the stuff from beans that gives you the "toots".

Step 7Simmer on low heat for 1-2hrs, OR transfer into slow cooker and cook on low for 4-6hrs.

Step 8About 20 minutes before serving REMOVE POTATOE from pot. Add hersheys chocolate bar and stir gently until melted.

Step 9Top bowl of chili with teaspoon of sour cream, grated cheddar cheese and chopped green onions. Serve with Frito Scoop chips or sliced french bread.
