These are more like french toast sandwiches and are very filling.

worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp
bottled hot pepper sauce
salt and pepper to taste
4 slice
thick bread, like texas toast bread
6 slice
cooked canadien bacon
3 oz
sliced sharp cheddar cheese
1 Tbsp
canola oil

How to Make Hot bacon and cheddar sandwiches


  • 1In lg shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, salt and pepper.
  • 2Layer 2 slices of bread w/ even amounts of bacon and cheese. Top w/ remaining bread. Press down to secure, or use toothpicks to secure.
  • 3Dip each sandwich into egg mix, coating both sides. Heat oil in lg skillet over medium heat. Cook sandwiches about 3 min each side or until browned and cheese is melted.
