For those who are looking for a healthier slow cooker soup that also delivers great taste. The apples sweeten the broth and makes for a great tasting dish. I found this recipe in a Better Homes and Garden book.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean bonless pork-cut into 1/2" pieces
- 1 cup dry lentils--rinsed and drained
- 3 - cooking apples-peeled, cored, chopped
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram, crushed
- 3 1/2 cups beef broth
How To Make healthy slow cooker lentil soup

Step 1Lightly coat skillet with cooking spray. Brown pork over med heat until brown. Drain.

Step 2Place pork in 4 quart slow cooker. Add rest of ingredients and stir to mix.

Step 3Cover and cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours or on high setting 3 to 4 hours.
