hawaiian porky pineapple spam burger with sauce

You could interchange ham for the spam, but the spam was so good grilled and tender we like the texture better. Feel free to adjust the dressing ingredients to your liking, we like a little heat.

Ingredients For hawaiian porky pineapple spam burger with sauce

  • 30 oz
    ground pork
  • 3 Tbsp
    teriyacki sauce
  • 1/3 c
    chopped scallios
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    each salt and pepper
  • 2
    whole pineapples
  • 12 oz
    can spam
  • 6 slice
    eash lettuce, onion, tomato
  • dressing
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 3 tsp
    siracha use your own judgement here
  • 2 Tbsp
    sweet thai chili sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    marmalade
  • 1 Tbsp
    teriyacki
  • 1 tsp
    eash salt and pepper
  • 6
    kings hawaiian buns

How To Make hawaiian porky pineapple spam burger with sauce

    Preheat grill to medium high
  • 2
    In a large bowl combine the pork scallions teritacki salt pepper and garlic powder. Make 6 patties
  • 3
    Peel the pineapple and make straight down cuts to get 4 slabs of pineapple. If possible and the slabs are thick enough, cut them in half lengthwise.

    Using a glass or other round object as a guide cut out pineapple to fit the Hawaiian rolls.

    Cut the Spam thickly 1/4 inch. Using the glass again cut out round shapes. Leftovers will be grilled for the cook.

    Grill the pork burgers, pineapple circles and Spam circles until pork is done. the pinepple and Spam just need to have pretty grill marks on them.

    While everything is grilling, make the dressing by combining all ingredients. Cover and chill.

    When everything is done and burgers assembled apply a generous amount of dressing to the top bun.
