Ingredients For ham & vegetable primavera

16 oz. pkgmini penne
-
1 lbfresh asparagus, trimmed & cut into 1" pieces
-
2 mdcarrots, cut into 1/4" slices
-
1/2 cbutter, cubed

1/2 lbfresh mushrooms, thinly sliced

2 mdzucchini, halved & cout into 1/4" slices
-
2 cham, fully cooked & cubed
-
10 oz. pkgfrozen peas, thawed

8green onions, chopped
-
3 tspdried basil
-
1 1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspwhite pepper
-
1/4 tspground nutmeg
-
11/2 cheavy whipping cream
-
1 cgrated parmesan cheese, divided
How To Make ham & vegetable primavera

1Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet. Saute asparagus & carrots for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms & zucchini; saute until crisp-tender. Stir in ham,peas,onions,basil, salt, pepper & nutmeg. Add cream. Bring to a boil; cook & stir for 2 minutes. Drain pasta, place in a large bowl. Add veggies & 1/2 cup chesse; toss to combine. Serve with remaining cheese.
