mini penne
1 lb
fresh asparagus, trimmed & cut into 1" pieces
2 medium
carrots, cut into 1/4" slices
1/2 c
butter, cubed
1/2 lb
fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 medium
zucchini, halved & cout into 1/4" slices
2 c
ham, fully cooked & cubed
10 oz. pkg
frozen peas, thawed
green onions, chopped
3 tsp
dried basil
1 1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
white pepper
1/4 tsp
ground nutmeg
11/2 c
heavy whipping cream
1 c
grated parmesan cheese, divided

How to Make Ham & Vegetable Primavera


  • 1Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet. Saute asparagus & carrots for 3 minutes. Add mushrooms & zucchini; saute until crisp-tender. Stir in ham,peas,onions,basil, salt, pepper & nutmeg. Add cream. Bring to a boil; cook & stir for 2 minutes. Drain pasta, place in a large bowl. Add veggies & 1/2 cup chesse; toss to combine. Serve with remaining cheese.
