holiday ham
There is just something about baked ham that says, "this is a special occasion." My sister-in-law always uses brown sugar and mustard for her glaze. I added the pineapple and cherries. This holiday ham is moist and tender. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 9-10 pounds cook's butt portion ham
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard + 1 addtl tsp.
- 3 tablespoons pineapple, crushed (well drained)
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, drained (long stemmed-opt)
- - whole cloves, optional
How To Make holiday ham

Step 1Preheat oven to 350F. Trim excess fat from ham. Score diamonds in ham. May stud with cloves, if desired.

Step 2Wrap in foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours @ 350F. Remove from oven.

Step 3Mix 1 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar with mustard, well drained crushed pineapple and cherries. Pour over ham and return to oven for about 40 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 160 degrees.

Step 4Allow to rest at least 30 minutes before slicing.
