I have been trying to come up with a Grill recipe worthy of entering into the Grill contest, hopefully this is the one, if not I will keep trying hehehehe :) Enjoy!

prep time 4 Hr
cook time 15 Min
method ---
yield 4 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 4 - thick pork chops (about 2 lb)
  • - marinade
  • 8 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic (minced or pressed)
  • - basting sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce (i used sirarcha but you can use your favorite and adjust according to your tolerances)
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

How To Make gayle's grilled pork chops

  • Step 1
Make criss cross slits in the fat on the pork chop so it can absorb the marinade
  • Step 2
In a glass dish mix all the marinade ingredients and place the chops in (turning once at this point and turning once more about half way through)
  • Step 3
cover and let stand at room temprature for 4 hours (use common sense f it's hot out keep it in a cool area otherwise marinade 8 hours in the refrigerator)
  • Step 4
Mix the Basting ingredients and allow to sit while the meat marinades.
  • Step 5
Remove chops from marinade baste and grill until cooked to your liking (about 6 minutes per side usually does it on my grill, they should no longer be pink) be liberal with the basting sauce to infuse with flavor
