Add to Grocery List

thick pork chops (about 2 lb)
8 Tbsp
olive oil
2 Tbsp
soy sauce
2 clove
fresh garlic (minced or pressed)
basting sauce
1 Tbsp
chili sauce (i used sirarcha but you can use your favorite and adjust according to your tolerances)
1 Tbsp
horseradish sauce
2 Tbsp
dijon mustard
2 Tbsp
6 Tbsp
apple cider vinegar

How to Make Gayle's Grilled Pork Chops

  • 1Make criss cross slits in the fat on the pork chop so it can absorb the marinade
  • 2In a glass dish mix all the marinade ingredients and place the chops in (turning once at this point and turning once more about half way through)
  • 3cover and let stand at room temprature for 4 hours (use common sense f it's hot out keep it in a cool area otherwise marinade 8 hours in the refrigerator)
  • 4Mix the Basting ingredients and allow to sit while the meat marinades.
  • 5Remove chops from marinade baste and grill until cooked to your liking (about 6 minutes per side usually does it on my grill, they should no longer be pink) be liberal with the basting sauce to infuse with flavor
