Ingredients

  • 4
thick pork chops (about 2 lb)
  • ·
    marinade
  • 8 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 clove
    fresh garlic (minced or pressed)
  • ·
    basting sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
chili sauce (i used sirarcha but you can use your favorite and adjust according to your tolerances)
  • 1 Tbsp
    horseradish sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 6 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar

How to Make Gayle's Grilled Pork Chops

Step-by-Step

  1. Make criss cross slits in the fat on the pork chop so it can absorb the marinade
  2. In a glass dish mix all the marinade ingredients and place the chops in (turning once at this point and turning once more about half way through)
  3. cover and let stand at room temprature for 4 hours (use common sense f it's hot out keep it in a cool area otherwise marinade 8 hours in the refrigerator)
  4. Mix the Basting ingredients and allow to sit while the meat marinades.
  5. Remove chops from marinade baste and grill until cooked to your liking (about 6 minutes per side usually does it on my grill, they should no longer be pink) be liberal with the basting sauce to infuse with flavor
