4 serving(s)
Ingredients
- 4 - thick pork chops (about 2 lb)
- - marinade
- 8 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves fresh garlic (minced or pressed)
- - basting sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce (i used sirarcha but you can use your favorite and adjust according to your tolerances)
- 1 tablespoon horseradish sauce
- 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
How To Make gayle's grilled pork chops
-
Step 1Make criss cross slits in the fat on the pork chop so it can absorb the marinade
-
Step 2In a glass dish mix all the marinade ingredients and place the chops in (turning once at this point and turning once more about half way through)
-
Step 3cover and let stand at room temprature for 4 hours (use common sense f it's hot out keep it in a cool area otherwise marinade 8 hours in the refrigerator)
-
Step 4Mix the Basting ingredients and allow to sit while the meat marinades.
-
Step 5Remove chops from marinade baste and grill until cooked to your liking (about 6 minutes per side usually does it on my grill, they should no longer be pink) be liberal with the basting sauce to infuse with flavor
