1 lb
italian sausage, sliced
1 medium
onion, chopped
2
ribs celery, chopped fine
2 clove
garlic, minced
1/2 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
black pepper
1/3 c
white vinegar
1 can(s)
(14 oz.) italian stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 c
water
1/2 lb
uncooked linguine, fettucine, spaghetti or pasta of your choice
2 Tbsp
fresh basil, choppedf

How to Make FAST & EASY PASTA & SAUSAGE

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large saucepan over medium heat, saute sausage, onion, celery, garlic, salt and pepper, until sausage is browned; drain fat.
  • 2Add the vinegar and cook over medium high heat until liquid is absorbed.
  • 3Add tomatoes and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and add pasta. Cover and simmer about 12 minutes, until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally. Top with the fresh basil and serve.
