This was one of my Grandma's recipes for pork chops. These are easy to fix and so good.

  • 6
    thick pork chops
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • 1 c
    apple sauce
  • 1 c
    sliced onion
  • 1 c
  • 1/4 c
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Eunice's Simmered Pork Chops


  1. Season chops-Brown in skillet.
  2. Combine applesauce, onion, catsup, water, soy sauce and sage.
  3. Pour over meat. Cover and simmer 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
