Ingredients

  • 1/2 package refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened apple juice
  • 1 pound sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups (8 oz.) shredded swiss cheese

How To Make easy bacon quiche

  • Step 1
    Line a 9-inch pie pan with pastry; trim and crimp edges. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a small skillet, saute green onions in butter until tender.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, cream and apple juice together. Stir in the cooked and crumbled bacon, salt, pepper and green onions. Pour into pastry; sprinkle with the cheese.
  • Step 4
    Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
