8 oz
mojo marinade (homemade or store bought)
4 large
garlic cloves, smashed
1/2 small
onion, grated
3 Tbsp
fresh cilantro, chopped
1 tsp
thyme, dried
1 tsp
oregano, dried
2 tsp
cumin, ground
3 Tbsp
fresh lime juice
1/4 c
1 tsp
crushed red pepper
2 Tbsp
brown sugar, light
kosher to taste

How to Make Cuban Inspired Smoked Pork Belly


  • 1Combine ingredients 2-14.
  • 2Add marinade to pork belly. Olace in zip lock bag. Marinate over night.
  • 3Smoke at 250 degrees for 6 hours. Baste with marinade and add additional wood chips as needed.
  • 4Rest, Slice. Enjoy!
