I found putting this in the freezer for a couple of days really packed the flavor into the recipe. It is great served with shredded cheddar cheese and crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 16 ounces can chili beans, with liquid
  • 15 ounces can kidney beans with liquid
  • 15 ounces can whole kernel corn, with liquid
  • 8 ounces can tomato sauce
  • 2 cups water
  • 14 1/2 ounces cans peeled and diced tomatoes
  • 1 1/4 ounces package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 1/2 packages “sazon goya” seasoning mix

How To Make crockpot taco soup

  • Step 1
    In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef and ground sausage until browned over medium heat. Drain, add taco seasoning mix and “Sazon Goya” seasoning mix.
  • Step 2
    Place the ground beef, onion, chili beans, kidney beans, corn, tomato sauce, water, and diced tomatoes in a slow cooker. Mix to blend, and cook on Low setting for 8 hours.
