I found putting this in the freezer for a couple of days really packed the flavor into the recipe. It is great served with shredded cheddar cheese and crackers.

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    ground sausage
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 16 oz
    can chili beans, with liquid
  • 15 oz
    can kidney beans with liquid
  • 15 oz
    can whole kernel corn, with liquid
  • 8 oz
    can tomato sauce
  • 2 c
    water
  • 14 1/2 oz
    cans peeled and diced tomatoes
  • 1 1/4 oz
    package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 1/2 pkg
    “sazon goya” seasoning mix

    In a medium skillet, cook the ground beef and ground sausage until browned over medium heat. Drain, add taco seasoning mix and “Sazon Goya” seasoning mix.

    Place the ground beef, onion, chili beans, kidney beans, corn, tomato sauce, water, and diced tomatoes in a slow cooker. Mix to blend, and cook on Low setting for 8 hours.
