Ingredients
- 2 cans bavarian-style sauerkraut, undrained
- 2 pounds polska kielbasa, precooked and cut into 3-inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

Step 1In the bottom of a slow cooker, layer 1 can sauerkraut, 1 pound sausage pieces, half the onion slices, 1/2 tsp. bouillon, and half the spices. Repeat layers.

Step 2Cover and cook on low setting for 7 to 9 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.

Step 3Serve with a green salad and a dish of spiced apples.
