I've been making this tasty dish for years now and still love it. There are many ways to change it. Sometimes I use white rice, other times brown rice. Another option is noodles. Feel free to experiment--you can't go wrong!

pork chops, boneless or bone-in (i used two chops)
1 c
all purpose flour
1 tsp
salt
1/4 tsp
pepper
2 Tbsp
cooking oil
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup
2 pkg
boil-in-bag rice
1 can(s)
milk (in soup can)
1 can(s)
water (in soup can)

How to Make CREAMY PORK & RICE SKILLET

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place pork chops on flat surface. Add salt and pepper, then coat chops on all sides with flour.
  • 2In a large skillet, brown chops well on both sides in oil, turning occasionally. When browned, pour off grease. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 1 hour.
  • 3In a small bowl, mix together soup and milk.
  • 4Pour soup mix over chops in skillet; add rice. Add one soup can water. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes, or until rice is done.
