A nice fall or winter dish for when you don't have time to stand over a stove. Serve with rice or noodles. You can thicken the sauce by adding a cornstarch slurry when cooking time is up.

  • 3-5 pounds boneless pork shoulder, whole
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

  • Step 1
    Coat the crock of a 5-quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    Salt and pepper the roast and place in slow cooker.
  • Step 3
    Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast.
  • Step 4
    Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
