Cranberry Pork Loin Roast

Years ago my friend would make a cranberry pork roast out of pork butt. WAY too many ingredients for me to remember! So I made this one up. My family devoured it!

  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 lb
    pork loin roast (i use the small one from costco)
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 tsp
    pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2
    orange rind, grated
  • 1 small
  • 1 c
    cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 can(s)
    cranberry sauce

How to Make Cranberry Pork Loin Roast


  1. Heat vegetable oil in a chef's pan
  2. Add pork roast. While browning, add the garlic, onion powder, pumpkin pie spice and orange rind.
  3. After one side is browned (about 5 minutes), turn over and add onion.
  4. When both sides are brown, put in slow cooker and add cranberry juice and cranberry sauce. Cook 4 hours on High or 8 hours on Low.
  5. After it's cooked, save the juice to make cranberry gravy.
