onion soup mix
1 &1/2 c
beef broth
1 tsp
olive oil
1 tsp
paprika
2 tsp
thyme
1 tsp
rosemary, dried
2 tsp
sea salt
1 tsp
pepper
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce

How to Make Comforting Pot Roast

Step-by-Step

  • 1Start by putting your slow cooker/crock pot on high setting (or slow if you wish for it to cook for a longer amount of time) and add the olive oil to pot.
  • 2Place pork roast in pot.
  • 3Wash all veggies. Cut celery, carrots, potatoes, onions and mushrooms into bite size pieces (or smaller/larger if you wish)
  • 4Add garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, onion soup mix and worcestershire sauce over meat.
  • 5Add all cut up veggies over the meat and seasonings.
  • 6Pour beef broth over top of everything in pot.
  • 7Place lid on pot and cook for at least 5 hours on high.
