Ingredients
- 4 - slices smoked bacon
- 2 pounds lean pork ,cut in to cubes
- 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
- 2 large cloves garlic,minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 quart chicken stock
- 2 cans 14 1/2 oz hominy drained
- 3 teaspoons paprika hot or mild
- 2 cans corn kernels ,drained [10] oz

Step 1In a frying pan over med heat fry bacon until crisp ,remove bacon pour off all but 2 to 3 Tbsp bacon fat.Add pork .Cook and stir till brown.Add onions and garlic cook and stir till onions are tender .

Step 2Put pork and bacon mixture in slow cooker Crumble bacon and add chili powder ,oregano,paprika ,cumin,chicken stock,drained hominy cook on low 8 to 10 hours .Last hour add corn.
