- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup stone ground mustard
- 2 tablespoons prepared yellow mustard
How To Make brown sugar mustard glazed ham
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 400ºF and place ham in a pan lined with aluminum paper.
-
Step 2In a bowl, combine brown sugar, ground cloves, ground mustard and yellow prepared mustard. Stir well and pour mixture over ham.
-
Step 3Transfer in preheated oven and cook for 1 ½ hours or 2 hours at 325ºF; internal temperature reaches 160ºF. Let rest ham for 20 minutes before slicing.
-
Step 4Note: Can be made in a slow cooker on low for 5 hours. The last hour, start basting. Add also some ground cloves for a more traditional flavor. Use oven cooking bag for an easy clean up and mix all together. Turn whole sealed bag every 15-20 minutes; no need to baste.
