A delicious, easy, quick, reduced carb breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage
  • - **grated cheese
  • - **pico de gallo
  • - **low carb pita bread, see below

How To Make breakfast pita reduced carb

  • Step 1
    Depending on the size of your pita you can get 3 or 4 out of 1 lb sausage. This one is an 8" pita so I got 3. They also make 6" pita bread.
  • Step 2
    Shape sausage into half moon shape patties and cook till done.
  • Step 3
    Cut top 1/3 of pita bread off. Insert hand into pita to make sure it doesn't stick together while toasting. I like to toast mine on a cast iron comal or griddle.
  • Step 4
    Once patty is done insert it into pita, add cheese on one side pico on the other, enjoy!!
