My family loves Bratwurst and potluck potato casserole during summer picnics and get togethers. I combined two family favorites into this hearty rib sticking cold weather casserole.

Ingredients
- 1 pound bratwurts
- 2 pounds o'brien hash brown potatoes, frozen
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 can condensed cheese soup
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon celery seed, ground
- 1 - sleeves ritz crackers, crushed with 1/4 cup melted butter
How To Make it's brat to me casserole

Step 1Remove bratwurst from casing and brown draining fat.

Step 2Preheat oven to 350 degrees with oven rack placed in the center of the oven.

Step 3Defrost potatoes. Combine in large mixing bowl with 1/2 cup melted butter, and seasoning.Add onion, soup, sour cream, cheese, garlic & spices and bratwurst. Blend thoroughly. Pour into buttered casserole. Cover with crumbs. Bake 45 minutes.
