bbq country pork ribs
These country style ribs are so tender, juicy and simple to make. If you don't like to cook with alcohol you can use apple cider or juice and these come out just as good.

How To Make bbq country pork ribs
-
Step 1Preheat large skillet with olive oil on medium heat. Season pork ribs with pepper, onion powder & Mrs. Dash season blend.
-
Step 2Brown pork in skillet for 5 minutes or so on each side. Just until they start to brown.
-
Step 3Slice onion & jalepeno and spread evenly over bottom of crock pot & place browned pork ribs on top of the onions and pepper.
-
Step 4Deglaze the skillet with a few ounces of beer and add minced garlic and pour this over pork in crockpot.
-
Step 5Add the remaining beer to the crockpot plus 1/4 - 1/2 C water so it's slightly below the top of the ribs. Cover and set crockpot on low for 4-5 hours.
-
Step 6The last 30 minutes of cooking I usually drain off all but 1/4 C liquid with a turkey baster or ladel. Then add BBQ Sauce (we like Cookies)or your own homemade sauce would work. Cover and let the ribs heat with the sauce for 20-30 minutes or so. I serve these with xtra BBQ Sauce, a baked potato and dinner salad or coleslaw. But anything would go great with them. This also makes really great leftover pulled pork sammies...Yum!
