This was an accidental recipe. I was trying to make pork wontons, and my wonton wrappers broke. So, to avoid take-out, I searched the pantry and came up with this recipe. Enjoy!

1 lb
ground pork
1 1/3 Tbsp
asian seasoning blend (eg. pampered chef asian seasoning mix)
1 tsp
ground ginger
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 c
soy sauce, low sodium
1/2 c
1/2 tsp
sesame seeds
1/2 c
edamame, steamed and cooled
1/2 lb
spaghetti, or other thin pasta

How to Make Asian Spaghetti and Meatballs

  • 1Mix together pork, ginger, garlic, and one tablespoon of asian seasoning mix. Roll into one inch meatballs. Add to skillet and cook over medium-high heat until pork is 3/4 cooked through.
  • 2Add soy sauce, water, and remaining asian seasoning to skillet. Toss with meatballs and continue cooking until pork is cooked through. Reduce heat and let simmer.
  • 3Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and return to hot pot until water evaporates completely. Spoon meatballs over pasta, pour sauce over top. Toss to coat over low heat; toss in sesame seeds.
  • 4When serving, toss cooled edamame into individual servings.
