asian spaghetti and meatballs
This was an accidental recipe. I was trying to make pork wontons, and my wonton wrappers broke. So, to avoid take-out, I searched the pantry and came up with this recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 1/3 tablespoons asian seasoning blend (eg. pampered chef asian seasoning mix)
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup soy sauce, low sodium
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup edamame, steamed and cooled
- 1/2 pound spaghetti, or other thin pasta
How To Make asian spaghetti and meatballs

Step 1Mix together pork, ginger, garlic, and one tablespoon of asian seasoning mix. Roll into one inch meatballs. Add to skillet and cook over medium-high heat until pork is 3/4 cooked through.

Step 2Add soy sauce, water, and remaining asian seasoning to skillet. Toss with meatballs and continue cooking until pork is cooked through. Reduce heat and let simmer.

Step 3Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and return to hot pot until water evaporates completely. Spoon meatballs over pasta, pour sauce over top. Toss to coat over low heat; toss in sesame seeds.

Step 4When serving, toss cooled edamame into individual servings.
