Ingredients

  • PLAN/PURCHASE
  • 1 large boneless pork tenderloin, about 1-inch (2.5cm) thick
  • 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose variety
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil, divided
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • - salt, kosher variety, to taste
  • - white pepper, freshly ground, to taste

    Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).
  • Step 4
    Add some salt and pepper to the flour, and place into a shallow dish.
  • Step 5
    Whisk the egg, and sesame oil with a bit of water, and place into another shallow dish.
  • Step 6
    Place the panko breadcrumbs into a third shallow dish, and mix with the additional teaspoon of sesame oil.
  • Step 7
    Cut the boneless pork tenderloin in half lengthwise.
  • Step 8
    Dip the pork into the flour, and thoroughly coat.
  • Step 9
    Shake off the excess flour, and then dip into the egg mixture.
  • Step 10
    Add to the panko, and thoroughly coat.
  • Step 11
    Add the pork to the basket of your air fryer.
  • Step 12
    Set the temp to 375f (190c), and cook until golden brown, about 6 – 8 minutes.

    Turn the pork over, and cook for an addition 4 – 5 minutes.

    PLATE/PRESENT
