Apple Pork chops and rice

I made this last night for my husband and myself it was so good, not your traditional pork chops and rice.

pork chops
2 Tbsp
butter, cold
1 can(s)
golden mushroom soup
1 1/4 c
vegetable broth
1/4 c
white wine
1/2 c
diced apple
1 tsp
table salt
seasoning salt, i use adobo
some onion slices/ rings
1 c
raw rice

How to Make Apple Pork chops and rice


  • 1Brown seasoned porkchops in butter.
  • 2Place rice in buttered casserole, I used 8x8. Sprinkle with woreceshershire sauce.
  • 3Mix soup, vegetable broth, wine, salt, and diced apples. Pour over rice.
  • 4Place pork chops on top. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes on a 350 degree oven.
  • 5Note: can be made with 4 pork chops and put in 9x13in. pan to serve 4 instead of two.
