apple pecan roasted pork
I like that fact that this recipe uses apple cider rather than apples, thereby lending the pork the subtle flavor of apples. And pecan pieces to top it off--yum! Recipe & photo: tasteofhome.com

How To Make apple pecan roasted pork
-
Step 1Place the pork roast in a large resealable plastic bag; add apple cider (or juice) and 1 tsp. salt. Seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
-
Step 2Spread the pecans on a plate. Drain pork, discarding marinade. In a small bowl, mix honey and mustard; rub over pork. Roll pork in pecans, patting to help nuts adhere.
-
Step 3Transfer to a greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Bake in a preheated 425-degree oven for one hour. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Cut into slices and season with salt to taste.
