A homemade pizza beats take-out any day. Feel free to add additional thinly sliced veggies such as onion, zucchini, etc.

Ingredients

  • 1 refrigerated pizza crust - thin or thick
  • 1 jar green pesto sauce
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 4-oz pkg. feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 can artichoke hearts in water, drained and chopped
  • 1 can 3.5 oz. can pitted ripe olives, drained and sliced (can use kalamata olives)
  • 2 plum tomatoes, sliced and placed on paper towels to absorb excess moisture
  • 1-2 cup fresh baby spinach, stems removed
  • 1 teaspoon italian or greek seasoning, optional

How To Make vegetarian pizza supreme

  • Step 1
    Roll out pizza dough and place on a pizza stone. You can use a sheet tray sprinkled with a little cornmeal. Heat oven to 375-400 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Spread a layer of pesto sauce on the pizza dough and sprinkle with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle artichoke hearts, olives and spinach over pizza. Add sliced tomatoes on top of spinach.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle with Italian or Greek seasoning, if using. Add remaining parmesan cheese and feta cheese.
  • Step 5
    Bake according to dough instructions or until crust is lightly browned and toppings are bubbly.
